Earlier this morning, four banksy pieces went up on the auction block at sotheby's in london. As usual, the bidding crushed pre-auction estimates. The high bids going to Mona Lisa with and AK-47 and Fuck The Police (pictured) each taking in 260.000 US a piece. The 'Keep it Real Monkeys' (below) went for a modest 240.000 US. You have to love it. Visioluxus did these Photographies and yes that is a real octopus. The octopus is actually upside down as the underbelly had the most interesting markings.

He is a contemporary artist/graphic designer/illustrator. He is most noted for being the artist who, while attending the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in 1989, created the "André the Giant Has a Posse" sticker campaign, which has evolved into the "Obey Giant" campaign, and can now be seen all over the world. He also created the Walk the Line movie poster and many propaganda-like posters that was fixed to billboards and buildings.
